YOUR DATA, EXPLAINED

A workspace you control.

Understand what the website stores, where tool processing happens and how to manage your records.

Tool inputs

Calculations, JSON formatting, project planning, practice and drafting run in your browser. They are sent to the NS-SY service only if you use a save, submission or API action. Reading and typing results are displayed in the browser and can be exported; their attempt histories are not automatically stored.

Accounts and workspace storage

On ns-sy.com, your account uses a username, display name and password. No email address is required for sign-up. Passwords are protected with salted scrypt hashes; the original password is never stored. Random session identifiers are stored as hashes and expire after 14 days. The internal account address is a system identifier, not a verified contact address. Email-based password recovery is not yet available. The database stores saved tool inputs, product favorites, consultation briefs and specialist applications against your account.

Requests and introductions

A brief can include your name, company, email, desired outcome, budget and timeframe. It is stored as a received request. It does not trigger email, booking or an automatic referral. Sharing a request with an outside specialist requires a separate agreement.

API access

Full API keys are displayed once. Only hashes and prefixes are stored. Request counts are recorded per key per UTC day to enforce a quota. Payloads are processed for the requested result and are not saved as a tool scenario.

Your controls

Export your workspace records, remove individual records and revoke keys in your workspace. Stored records remain until removed or the service is decommissioned. Revoking a key also removes its usage counts. Hosting infrastructure may retain operational logs or backups under its own policies.

Third-party sources

Signal Atlas displays a bounded historical sample from an existing Product Hunt crawl. We retain product-level listing information and source links, not maker profiles or reviews. Opening a source link takes you to a third-party site with its own policies.

Cookies and analytics

The site does not add advertising, third-party analytics or marketing trackers. NS-SY uses a secure, HTTP-only authentication cookie when you sign in. Cloudflare and the hosting infrastructure may use security cookies. Locally hosted fonts avoid a third-party font request. The service is hosted on the operator’s server behind Cloudflare. Contact and retention notices will be expanded as operational services are connected.

Questions or removal requests

Use the consultation brief to record a request, or remove records directly from your workspace. The service has no connected email inbox and does not claim an operator will respond automatically.
